Traditional Programming or No-Code Development?
We tell you what is better in website development. Pure programming or MVP platform? In the modern world, pure programming is starting to give way to MVP platforms. Why? To begin with, when creating a website, a brief is discussed with the developers, either verbally or in writing. In this brief, you describe/tell what you would like to see on your website. This could be: a product catalog, shopping cart, personal accounts, automatic sending of notifications to the client’s email, etc. All this can be done on the MVP + platform with partial programming. But if you need non-standard solutions such as programming applications, chats, dating sites, etc., then this is pure programming on your own engine. You should switch to pure programming only after you have already tested the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) - the minimum viable product. For example: you are creating a new business and you think the product is perfect and the market will like it. But we will only know if he likes it or not after the project is launched. Full stack development takes from 6 months to 1 year. During this time, you will spend a considerable amount of money, or rather from 1 million rubles in the best case, and can reach 30 million rubles. In pure programming it is not so easy to change something, because a large number of libraries are used. As a result, in a year we will just release the product to the market and we will still need to promote it (advertising, SEO promotion, etc.). The most disappointing thing will be if the market doesn’t accept your idea and it turns out to be unnecessary. But you've already spent a decent amount of money. 💡 Attention! Word press, Bitrix and other CMS are not pure programming. Pure programming is everything from scratch, including the engine.
What do we do to avoid such problems?
We are developing an MVP. In the modern world, the MVP approach allows you to launch a working version of a product quickly and more flexibly. Thus, you do not expose yourself to large expenses for the development team and do not spend at least 6 months on it. Development on MVP takes from 2 weeks to 3 months. Bottom line: You should go for Full stack development if you have already tested and verified everything, everything works well and you know that your product is needed by the market. For everything else, you need to develop an MVP. P.S: Even some of our clients with years of established business are still sitting on MVP, continue to improve their product and do not see the point in switching to Full stack development.
